My previous sessions were not exactly online tutoring sessions. My subject was English Literature and Language. I, actually taught at a private-sector school for about a year. I had to plan lessons, make planners, tests, half yearly and final exam papers. I would like to say that teaching is not just for students, but it teaches a lot to a teacher as well and this job has groomed me to be a better version of myself.
My name is Maryam. I am a reader and also like to write sometimes. English has always been my favourite subject at school and later it also became my field of specialization. Apart from this, my another favourite thing to do, is teaching. I also feel like it’s the need of the hour, and there are a lot of people out there, who want to study and improve their English language and skills regarding to it. So I would really appreciate if I could be of any help to those who want to learn and understand the language. As far as my studies are concerned, I did my B.A (Hons.) in English Literature from University of Karachi and secured 3rd position with a first division in my batch. I also did my M.A in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching. So, I kind of have a good grip and command on this Language as I have thoroughly studied it over the years.
